Founded in 2018, Speckled Space started with a simple idea — to make beautiful and thoughtfully selected home décor more accessible.
With a background in design, Rachel took a leap of faith and left the banking industry to start the business, beginning with the buying and selling of home décor pieces she believed could elevate everyday spaces.
Shortly after, Karen came on board, helping to grow the business as Speckled Space began reaching more customers across Singapore.
From Home Décor to Styling Spaces
Home décor has always been at the heart of Speckled Space.
We started by curating and selling pieces that we felt could add warmth, character and style to a home. As customers became familiar with our aesthetic and trusted our vision, many began approaching us for help styling their own spaces.
What began as a home décor business gradually expanded into styling homes, offices and commercial spaces, allowing us to work more closely with customers and understand how different pieces come together within a complete interior.
That experience continues to shape the way we curate our collections today.
We look beyond how an individual product looks on its own and consider how it works within a space — its proportion, colour, texture, functionality and the feeling it creates in a room.
How Christmas Became Part of Our Story
As Speckled Space evolved, Christmas became a natural extension of what we were already passionate about — creating beautiful homes.
The festive season has a unique way of transforming a space. The Christmas tree becomes a focal point of the home, while ornaments, wreaths, lighting and decorative details bring warmth and personality into every corner.
What started as a seasonal addition gradually became one of Speckled Space’s key specialities.
Today, our Christmas collection includes artificial and pre-lit Christmas trees, baubles, hanging ornaments, wreaths and festive decorations, all selected with the same design-led approach we have applied to home décor since the beginning.

Whether we are selecting a decorative object, helping someone choose a Christmas tree or putting together a complete festive look, we consider how the different elements work together within the home.
That is also why our team enjoys helping customers choose the right tree size and silhouette for their space, as well as recommending ornament combinations, colour palettes and decorating ideas.
